Aaton's flagship Cantar X3 24-track production recorder, Cantar #317, in its original case. Faders and rotaries at your fingertips, so you never have to touch the screen mid-take. It comes straight off a working production cart.

Dante and AMBEO equipped. The unit has the Dante option, and you can see the Dante and AMBEO badges on the info screen in the photos.

It's shown on my cart with timecode running at 23.98 ndf, 48 kHz / 24-bit. Firmware is 3.535.C12 with DSP 2.4.4. Media: 238 GB SSD plus two SD cards.

The Cantar X3 has 24 tracks, an embedded 10-channel control surface, and eight balanced mic/line inputs with rotary pots. Every input can be routed to any track. The linear faders can be assigned to inputs, outputs or the mixdown. It can record to multiple media at once, or copy to a second card as a backup after recording.

16 or 24-bit BWF, 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz, with pull-up/down support

Condition

This is a working professional unit. The screen is clear and bright, all faders and rotaries work, the jog wheel and F-key cluster work correctly, and the connectors are sound. Cosmetically, it looks like a recorder that has spent its whole life on carts.

The sale is the Cantar X3 and its case only. Nothing else is included. Local pickup in Atlanta, or I ship domestic and worldwide, fully insured at buyer's cost.
