Charvel Super-Stock San Dimas Style 1 H FR EB Diamond Life, Hard Case – Used

The Charvel Super-Stock San Dimas Style 1 H FR EB in Diamond Life is a stripped-back, high-performance rock guitar built around a simple but seriously effective formula: one Seymour Duncan JB humbucker, one Volume control, an ebony compound-radius fingerboard and a recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo.

Finished in factory-distressed Diamond Life nitrocellulose lacquer, it has the look of a heavily played vintage hot-rodded Charvel while retaining a modern performance specification.

Single Seymour Duncan JB

The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4, one of the most recognisable high-output humbuckers in rock guitar.

It delivers:

• Strong upper-mid presence

• Tight attack

• Excellent sustain

• Harmonic richness

• Clear high-gain rhythm tones

• Powerful lead sounds

The control layout is deliberately minimal:

• 1 Seymour Duncan JB bridge humbucker

• 1 Master Volume

• No pickup selector

• No Tone control

Compound-Radius Ebony Fingerboard

The ebony fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius, giving you a rounder feel lower down the neck and a flatter surface towards the upper frets.

This makes it particularly well suited to:

• Fast lead playing

• Wide bends

• Legato

• Tapping

• Technical rhythm work

• Lower-action setups

Recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series

The Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo is recessed into the body, allowing both downward and upward pitch movement.

Ideal for:

• Dive bombs

• Pull-ups

• Wide vibrato

• Harmonic effects

• Aggressive tremolo work

Diamond Life Finish

The Diamond Life finish combines distressed black nitrocellulose lacquer with a bold yellow diamond graphic.

The worn appearance is part of the original factory design, so the guitar is intended to have a road-worn look rather than a pristine gloss finish.

Fair Deal Music Verdict

The Charvel Super-Stock San Dimas Style 1 H FR EB Diamond Life is all about simplicity, speed and attitude.

The Seymour Duncan JB gives it the aggressive, harmonically rich voice needed for rock and metal, while the compound-radius ebony fingerboard and recessed Floyd Rose make it a seriously capable lead guitar.

The factory-distressed Diamond Life finish gives it huge visual character and fits the hot-rodded San Dimas concept perfectly.

For players who want a focused high-performance guitar without unnecessary controls or switching, this is a seriously strong option.
