A signature model based on "Number One," the guitar that symbolizes SRV
As a die-hard Stratocaster devotee, blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan needs no introduction among Strat fans. Many Stratocasters are associated with him, but the most famous is surely the battered sunburst Stratocaster known as "Number One." This Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster is based on that very guitar, featuring the "SRV" pickguard engraving, a left-handed tremolo unit, and gold hardware.
Fitted with Fender Texas Special pickups. They make it easy to bring out dynamic picking nuance, expressing both the gritty tone of the wound strings and the delicate tone of the plain strings well.
You might just wince during a good string bend!
