Up for sale is a 1993 Gibson Flying V ’67 Reissue in Vintage Sunburst. It's an exceptional guitar with a great backstory, in fantastic aesthetic and playing condition.
Here's the scoop on this specific piece: the serial number on the headstock actually points to 1982, but after reaching out directly to Gibson Customer Service (sse pic) , they confirmed it was built in 1993, likely as a Custom Shop piece or a special factory order (the pots inside are dated 1992).
The guitar is completely original across the board, with the sole exception of a replaced nut. Frets are sitting comfortably at about 90%; whether it’s a refret or just impeccably maintained, the fretwork is flawless and plays like butter. Cosmetically, it’s remarkably clean with no major dings, deep scratches, or finish chipping.. just light, normal signs of gentle use for a 30-year-old instrument.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case.
It's plug-and-play ready, looks killer, and carries that unique special-run character you don't see every day.
