■ Special Edition "MC" Model Featuring Anodized Parts

Based on the "MC1/R" featuring an alder body paired with a rosewood fingerboard, this limited edition model is customized with striking blue anodized hardware. The backplate is engraved with the classic Momose logo used in the brand's early years.

■ Oil Finish

Finished with an oil finish that highlights the color of the anodized parts. The thin coat achieved through oil finishing allows you to fully enjoy a direct, vibrant body resonance.

■ C-Shape Neck Grip

The "MC1/R" model features a versatile C-shape neck grip that offers a comfortable feel regardless of hand size. Its satin finish ensures smooth, effortless position changes.

■ Deeper Horn Cutaway for Superior High-Position Playability

Compared to traditional ST-style guitars, the "MC" model features a deeper cutaway on the treble side horn. This significantly improves playability in the higher registers, allowing even players with larger hands to sweep up to the high frets with zero stress.

■ Inset Neck Joint Plate

While utilizing a traditional 4-bolt neck plate to preserve classic tonal characteristics, the plate is recessed into the body for enhanced comfort and playability.

■ Wood Binding Prevents Fingerboard Issues

The sides of the fretboard feature wood binding made from the same material as the fingerboard itself. This creates exceptionally smooth edges and prevents issues such as sharp fret ends protruding from the side.

■ Wider Truss Rod Adjustment Hole

The uniquely shaped headstock includes a widened adjustment hole to ensure smooth, hassle-free neck adjustments. The hole shape is intentionally enlarged for easier tool access.

■ "Awake" Pickups

Equipped with the newly developed "Awake" pickups introduced alongside Momose's 2026 product line renewal. The neck and middle positions utilize Alnico 4 magnets to produce sweet highs and natural tones. Meanwhile, the bridge position incorporates Alnico 5 magnets to add power and edge where sounds can often thin out. Designed to deliver the precise tone required for each position while maintaining balanced overall harmony, these pickups truly live up to their name by awakening the player's expression and creativity.

■ Centralab® Oil Capacitor

In conjunction with the new pickups, the capacitor was thoroughly re-evaluated. Selected from numerous candidates specifically for its optimal synergy with the pickups, the Centralab oil capacitor was chosen. It delivers exceptional responsiveness to subtle playing nuances and a bright, punchy tone that helps the sound cut through the mix, creating a new signature Momose tone.

■ Luminlay Glow-in-the-Dark Side Dots

All models feature Luminlay side dots that store light and glow in the dark. Highly prized on dark live house and concert stages during low-light stage lighting or transitions, this feature is widely trusted by professional musicians to reduce the risk of losing hand position in the dark.

■ Puretone® Jack

Equipped with Puretone® jacks across all models, renowned for their solid plug hold and low noise floor. Unlike traditional jacks, Puretone features dual hot and cold terminals that grip the plug securely from both sides. It resists loosening even after extended use, supporting your performance with reliable, consistent stability.
