Laney Lionheart L50H 50-Watt All-Tube Class A Head & L412 4x12" Matching Half-Stack – Marine Blue– As New

Description

I’m selling this spectacular, boutique-quality Laney Lionheart L50H Half Stack, finished in the iconic Marine Blue vinyl with a light brown/beige grille cloth. This is a terrific Parallel Single-Ended Class A thing of beauty. Laney achieved a massive 50 watts of Class A power by running no less than five EL34 power tubes in parallel (10W per tube), backed by a heavy-duty toroidal transformer.

The tonal result is an incredibly airy, three-dimensional, and harmonically complex British sound that reacts organically to your playing and to your guitar volume. Coupled with the matching L412 cabinet loaded with four premium Celestion Heritage G12H drivers, this rig provides unmatched warmth, chimey clean tones, and an absolutely glorious edge-of-breakup drive. Has a magical sound in clean.

Key Features & Technical Specs

Laney Lionheart L50H Head:

• Power Output: 50 Watts RMS of pure single-ended Class A tube tone
• Tubes: 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes & 5 x EL34 power tubes
• Channels: 2 Channels (Clean & Drive) with independent volume controls
• Controls: Passive Bass, Middle, Treble EQ; Global "Bite" switch; Reverb; overall Tone and Dynamics controls (excellent for tightening or broadening the low end)
• Rear Panel: Variable FX Loop (Bypass / Insert / Side Chain modes with level control), Preamp Out / Power Amp In, and 8/16 Ohm speaker outputs

Laney L412 Matching Cabinet:

• Speakers: 4 x 12" Celestion Heritage G12H drivers (120W power handling total)
• Impedance: 16 Ohms
• Construction: Heavy-duty plywood construction with side-mounted metal bar handles and factory-fitted castors. Also, has bracket to project speakers upwards as photographed.

Condition & Seller Notes

• Condition: Really excellent – hasn’t left the house, never been gigged and rarely used hence the reason for selling.
• Cosmetics: Cosmetically very clean with only minor signs of light indoor use. Note: the handle on the amplifier has been made from weird leather like material which has started to lose the top layer so looks sub-optimal. Not from use but from age. I’ve had the amp from about 2014. There’s a couple of minor vinyl scuffs at the bottom of the main cabinet from moving it about.
• Functionality: Literally as new functionality and 100% operational. The tubes have plenty of life left in them, and all pots run smoothly without noise.
• Included Accessories: Comes with Power cable / Matching speaker cable / Laney FS2-Mini footswitch. Also comes with covers for both the cabinet and the amplifier. I have cut a hole in the back of each so it can be wired together when covered.
