This popular jazz and blues guitar is a hidden champion. It is very versatile and also sounds quite pleasant acoustically. It was reissued in 2010 and bears the same name as its big Gibson sister – and it is every bit as good! This faithful reissue features two Alnico V Classic humbuckers, as well as a laminated maple top and body. Thanks to separate volume and tone controls, it offers a wide range of sounds – from a dark, full jazz tone with the neck pickup to crisp, powerful blues with the bridge pickup and everything in between. But it is also an archtop that can shift into a heavier gear when required. The previous owner had a very comfortable armrest fitted, which makes playing even more pleasant.
It has been played but only shows normal signs of use. The frets have been levelled and polished. The setup is done.
