Orange Amplification was born in 1968, when Cliff Cooper opened the Orange Music shop in London's West End and began building amps for the city's booming rock scene. Those bold orange heads, with their signature picture-style control labels, soon appeared on stages with Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Page and Stevie Wonder. Though often in the shadow of Marshall and Vox, Orange has built a fiercely loyal following among hard rockers, doom and stoner rock aficionados, and anyone who craves thick, saturated British tube tone.

The Rocker 32 carries that heritage into a compact, pedal-friendly 2x10 all-tube combo. At 30 watts, its four EL84 power tubes are never pushed hard, so the Natural channel offers plenty of clean headroom for your pedals. The half-power switch coaxes out natural breakup at friendlier volumes, and the valve-buffered effects loop allows full stereo operation. The Dirty channel delivers the brawny, chewy crunch Orange is known for: less bright and fizzy than a Marshall, with serious low-end punch from the twin 10-inch speakers and 11" deep cabinet.

At just over 50 pounds, the Rocker 32 is no featherweight, but it sounds great at small club volumes with plenty of power in reserve for outdoor gigs. If you want one amp that flexes from rehearsal room to festival stage with effortless authority, this used Orange Rocker 32 is a great choice.
