Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 2024 Gretsch G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut in Azure Metallic with a Bigsby vibrato and hardshell case. The G5420T is one of the core Electromatic hollowbody models, combining traditional Gretsch styling with FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups, trestle block bracing, and the familiar Bigsby B60 vibrato system.

The G5420T features an arched laminated maple hollow body with trestle block bracing, a set maple neck with Gretsch’s Classic C profile, and a bound laurel fingerboard with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. The 24.6" scale, 12" fingerboard radius, and 22 medium-jumbo frets give it a comfortable modern feel without straying far from the traditional Gretsch formula. Electronics consist of a pair of FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups with individual pickup volume controls, master tone, master volume with treble-bleed circuit, and a 3-way selector. Hardware includes a secured Adjusto-Matic bridge on a laurel base, vintage-style open-back tuners, and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece.

This example is in excellent condition and presents very cleanly overall. There are only light signs of normal previous use with no significant cosmetic issues to point out. The Azure Metallic finish, silver pickguard, nickel hardware, and bound body remain especially clean, and the guitar includes a protective hardshell case.
