PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

Dynaudio Core 7 professional reference monitors deliver class-leading sound quality with accurate bass response and detailed transients in a compact package. Featuring two Class D amplifiers, a brand-new tweeter design and custom-treated woofers, the Core 7s are the ideal reference monitor for any high-demand studio or broadcast environment.

DANISH ENGINEERING

At the heart of Core 7 are two powerful Class D amplifiers. One 500 W amp drives the proprietary midrange driver, which is handmade at the Dynaudio factory in Denmark. Another 150 W amp drives the iconic Dynaudio soft dome tweeter.

Dynaudio has their driver production down to a science, pumping out 1.4 million drivers each year so, rest assured, every set of Core 7s you come across will perform at the same exceptional level. No matter what recording studios, edit suites, broadcast trucks and theatrical dub stages you find them on, you can expect the same consistent sound and reliable transient reproduction.

HANDMADE DRIVERS

Core 7 monitors are equipped with brand-new Esotar Pro tweeters, which feature Dynaudio’s revolutionary Hexis system. Hexis optimizes airflow and eliminates unwanted internal resonances to create a more balanced frequency response and pinpoint imaging.

Each monitor features a 7 inch woofer built using Dynaudio’s proprietary MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cone material for unprecedented accuracy. Aluminum voice coils, glass-fiber formers and advanced magnet designs allow each woofer to produce a flat bass response down into to 44 Hz.

DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING

Dynaudio Core 7 monitors include the most powerful on-board DSP in their class. Analog signals are processed at 192 kHz sampling rate and 64-bit resolution through a 24-bit analogue-to-digital converter to ensure there are zero artifacts.

Core 7 is designed for maximum flexibility. Each Core 7 has two DSP filter switches, allowing you to adjust their frequency response depending on where you set them up in your studio. Set Core 7 to “Desk” when placed on the meter bridge of a console to compensate for the first reflection bouncing off of the desk. Smaller studios can use the “Wall” or “Corner” settings to help reduce boundary effects when placing Core 7 near hard surfaces.
