The Gibson BurstBucker #3 delivers faithful replicas of the famous "Patent Applied For" (PAF) humbuckers found on iconic 1959 Les Paul Sunbursts. With non-symmetrical coil windings and an unfinished Alnico II magnet, this pickup provides an airy, full tone with sweet, rich highs and exceptional drive when overdriven.
The #3 is the "hotter" overwound version in the BurstBucker series, making it perfect for driving your amplifier hard in the bridge position while maintaining vintage clarity and dynamics.
