TASCAM DM-24 32-Channel Digital Mixing Console – Tested Working

TASCAM DM-24 digital mixing console with motorized faders, 16 analog mic/line inputs, onboard processing and effects, and extensive digital routing capabilities.

This TASCAM DM-24 came from an original owner who used it occasionally for recreational purposes rather than in a professional studio. It was well cared for and kept in good condition. It remains in good cosmetic condition for its age, with very minor signs of normal use.

This console has undergone hands-on audio testing and onboard diagnostic testing to verify its functionality. The console's primary analog mixing functions are working, with one known LCD issue described below.

TESTING COMPLETED

- Powers on and boots successfully.

- All 16 analog microphone/line inputs successfully signal-tested.

- Microphone and line-level audio tested.

- Successfully mixed three simultaneous audio sources with independent channel control.

- Stereo output and headphone monitoring confirmed working.

- Studio monitor output tested.

- Motorized faders operated successfully.

- Fader touch/position, rotary control and LED diagnostics passed.

- Successfully connected to and operated with the TASCAM MU-24 meter bridge (meter bridge not included; sold separately).

KNOWN ISSUE

The LCD intermittently displays a horizontal line near the top of the screen. This was reproduced during diagnostic testing, but the display remained usable.

COSMETIC CONDITION

Good overall condition for its age, with minor signs of normal use. One rear corner rubber bumper is missing, with a slight indentation in the housing nearby. Please see photos.

NOT FULLY TESTED

Specialized digital connections, including ADAT, TDIF, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, MIDI, MTC, RS-422 and word clock, have not been independently verified. Some additional auxiliary/bus outputs and routing functions have also not been fully tested.

Both optional expansion slots have blank covers, as shown in the photographs. No additional expansion cards are installed.
