I’m selling this beautiful black Danelectro in excellent overall condition. It has been carefully maintained and is fully functional.
This is the iconic model associated with Jimmy Page, seen in his hands in the documentary It Might Get Loud. It delivers that instantly recognizable Danelectro sound, especially in alternate tunings.
The guitar retains everything that makes this model special: a lightweight build, a comfortable neck, a classic black and white vintage look, and the distinctive attack of lipstick pickups.
The original pickups have been replaced with upgraded GFS pickups. They preserve the character of traditional lipsticks while adding presence and dynamics. The result is punchier, more defined, and especially lively, without losing the authentic Danelectro sound.
It sounds great clean or through an amp pushed just past the edge of breakup: bright and snappy, full of personality, and able to cut through a mix without sounding harsh.
Condition: Excellent. The glossy black finish looks great, the hardware is clean, and the neck and fretboard are in very good condition. No visible dents or dings.
A distinctive guitar to play and a great find for any Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin, or Danelectro fan.
You’re welcome to try it in person.
Vintage case included.
