Fiberplex LightViper VIM-1832 Fiber Optical 32X8 STPanel Audio Distribution Tail

This appears to be the VIM-1832-S-ST configuration. The ST meaning STPanel Mount optical connectors and the S meaning Fiber Type of 9/125µm Singlemode. Power cable only included (no other cables are included). Minor cosmetic wear, but overall clean. Guaranteed to be in good working order once installed in a complete and compatible system with appropriate configuration. Matching VRK-1832 head end is available.

The Fiberplex LightViper VIM-1832 8x32 Audio Distribution Tail is used in conjunction with the VRK-1832, VIS-4832, VIS-1832 to achieve a 32x8 fiber-optic transport system. Supplied with a pair of transmit/receive LC fiber connectors (different connector configuration options are available). It also contains a single fiber “thru” connector (transmit only). This is the tail end of for Stage to FOH or drive snake applications. The VIM-1832 features 8 audio inputs which are selectable between analog line level and AES3 digital. The 32 audio outputs of both units are both analog line level and AES3 digital and are simultaneously available. Audio is via DB25 connectors. The VIM-1832 is the clock master in the system. I has the ability to generate it's own superiour quality Word Clock, or alternately accept an external Word Clock. The system features a “control” connection which is a TTL data port which appears on an EtherCon connector. It allows LightViper accessory devices such as the DMX4o (DMX lighting control) or MD3 (RS422/232/MIDI) to be connected to the unit. 48k or 96k operation.
