Takamine FN15 AR Natural Satin 2023 1 of 300 Ltd Edition Electro Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a Takamine FN15 AR Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Satin finish. Made in Japan in 2023 as 1 of only 300 made, this guitar consists of a Solid Cedar top, Amazon Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold Takamine enclosed tuners, a Rosewood bridge, and a CTF-2N "Brownie" preamp and pickup system. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, providing ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the neck. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck provides a comfortable playing surface, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers offering a smooth playing surface. The nut width is rather narrow at just 1.673". This ensures easy reach for big stretches & a very manageable feel in all registers. 

The acoustic voice of the Takamine FN15 AR is warm and rich, with the satin finish allowing the wood to resonate clearly for a lively and responsive playing experience. The Amazon Rosewood back and sides provide a deep, rich and warm tone with a defined low end, smooth midrange and sparkling highs. The FN15 AR comes fitted with Takamine's retro-inspired CTF-2N "Brownie" preamp, which includes a 2-band EQ for tone shaping, a notch filter for feedback control, and a built-in tuner for staying in tune on the go.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Mild indentations are present to the top edges of the headstock, these have lightly pierced the finish. With these indentations slight delamination an be seen to the treble side top edge.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light indentations are present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can only be seen under direct light and can very slightly be felt in the playing position.

Body: Overall good condition. Moderate wear markings are present to the treble side of the sound hole, this has exposed the wood beneath the finish and is consistent with moderate past use. Mild white markings are present to the lower bout rear face, these have not exposed the wood beneath.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.25mm

There is considerable material remaining for future adjustments to the saddle.
