Tokai SX-65 - Red - Mid-80s MIJ - Top of the SX Series - Extra Tokai Tremolo - Lightweight 3.3kg（26A052）

🎬 Video walkthrough available — see the last slide of the photo gallery.

Tokai SX-65 in Red — the top model of Tokai's original "SX" series from the mid-1980s (65,000 yen new). Short production run; quite rare today.

In the mid-80s Japanese makers stepped beyond Strat and Les Paul copies with their own designs. The SX has an original shape reminiscent of the Tokai Talbo: sharp cutaways and a large pickguard reaching the bottom of the body — pure 80s style.

Original Tokai non-locking tremolo stamped "EXTRA TOKAI". NOTE: the tremolo arm is missing — please source one separately. Pull switch on the tone knob selects bridge only / bridge + neck. Light at 3.32 kg.

CONDITION
Good used condition with scratches and pick wear on the body. Frets approx. 85-90% remaining. Neck is straight with plenty of truss rod adjustment left. Electronics tested, no issues. Tremolo arm missing.

VISIBLE MARKS (please see the photos)
- Small finish chip on the headstock face near the nut
- Slight dullness on tuner and bridge plating
- Light surface scratches on the body from use
