Part of Fender’s limited-edition Rarities Collection introduced in 2019, this model combines a selection of woods and specifications not commonly found on a traditional Stratocaster.

The guitar features a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple top and a Thinline-style F-hole. The Violin Burst finish transitions from a warm amber center to darker outer edges, highlighting the figuring of the Flame Maple and giving the guitar a highly distinctive appearance.

One of the most notable features of this model is its solid Rosewood neck. Paired with a Modern “Deep C” neck profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius, and Narrow Tall frets, it retains the familiar feel and playability of a modern Fender while offering a very different visual and tonal character.

The pickup configuration is HSS, with Custom Shop ’69 Strat Single-Coils in the neck and middle positions and a Custom Double Tap Humbucking pickup in the bridge. The S-1 Switch allows additional switching options for the bridge humbucker, offering both traditional Strat-style tones and the fuller output of a humbucker.

With its Mahogany body, Flame Maple top, Thinline F-hole, and solid Rosewood neck, this is one of the more distinctive and unusual models from Fender’s Rarities Collection.
