The closest thing you will get to a Japanese made Gibson is something with Orville on the headstock

Made in Japan in the1990s, the LPS-75 was a mid-range model from the Orville catalog featuring a mahogany body with a solid maple top, a mahogany slim 60's neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard.

This guitar is in good overall condition with the only exception being a few dings on the body (purely cosmetic). On ding on the neck is shown specifically. Ugly but does not effect play.

The original pickups were long gone when I took ownership of the guitar, so have fitted Tonerider Alnico2 Classic at the bridge and Alnico 4 Classic at the neck. The pots were shot as well, so have a set of Bourns 500k with PIO Caps i the control cavity
