The bending gets you some superb textures and takes it way beyond the stock machine. The clocking control goes deep dark and dirty or high and shiny. Glitches/crashes can occur, but switching off and on again resets it.

There is no battery compartment - it's been sacrificed for the bends - and the internal speakers can be a little buzzy, but you'll record from the minijack output. There's a toggle switch to kill the speakers.

Very, very highly recommended. There are only three machines like this in existence, so you'll have something unique.

The ST-50 was the flagship of the Suiko range, offering a wider sound palette and more performance features than other models. Its distinctive tones make it charming, inspiring, and highly playable - perfect for experimental musicians and sound designers.
