Blue Cat Audio Crafters Pack 7 Analysis and Routing Tools (Card)

The Crafters Pack is Blue Cat's toolkit for building your own signal chains and seeing what they are doing. It is seven plug-ins that between them handle hosting, routing, multiband splitting, scripting and four kinds of metering.

PatchWork is the centre of it. It hosts other manufacturers' VST and Audio Unit plug-ins inside a single instance, in series or in parallel, which lets you build a chain once and move it between sessions and even between DAWs as one preset.

Plug'n Script is the part that makes this a developer's pack as much as a mixer's. It runs audio and MIDI scripts as a plug-in, with the code editable live, so a processor you cannot buy can be written instead.

The rest is measurement. FreqAnalyst Multi, Oscilloscope Multi and StereoScope Multi each compare several tracks on one display rather than one track at a time, which is the difference between guessing where a frequency clash is and seeing it.

Blue Cat put the saving at $194 against buying the seven separately.
