Collings Guitars is one of the most highly regarded brands in the world. Collings' consistently high level of craftsmanship means that players are captivated by the beauty of the instrument just by holding it, and the sound it produces is truly satisfying. This particular instrument is an OM-28 style, the "OM2H G," with optional materials. It is a used item from 2019. Features include a German spruce top, East Indian rosewood sides and back, bolt-on mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, original Waverly tuners, original tortoiseshell pickguard, diamond fingerboard inlays, herringbone trim, ivoroid binding, and original scalloped X-bracing. This is a standard Collings OM2H model, with a different color finish due to the optional materials. The German spruce top provides a lustrous and elegant sound. The rich harmonic resonance and the way the harmonics seem to envelop the core of the sound are characteristic of this wood. Collings guitars are already renowned for their sharp attack and precise pitch. The German spruce has a thick, dense tone characteristic of its kind, a wide sound range, and the pleasant, crisp sound of the plain strings is easily heard. The excellent tonal balance regardless of position, the practicality of being able to use all positions, the 631mm scale (a so-called OOO style option order), and its ease of handling are all attractive features that will impress even the most discerning acoustic guitar enthusiasts. It excels not only in traditional playing but also in fingerstyle playing thanks to its OOO size. This guitar thoroughly refines both its qualities as a guitar and its practicality as a tool. There is a tiny dent on the bottom of the side, smaller than a grain of rice, but it is only on the paint surface and not very noticeable. Otherwise, this instrument is in superb condition with very little signs of use, only faint traces of cloth wiping. The neck condition is excellent, and this OM model, crafted by the prestigious Collings, is packed with options. A vibrant abalone inlay stands out beautifully against the center of the white-grained top. Its precision, quality, and practicality are guaranteed. Please consider it. An original hard case is included.
