I got this incredible cymbal from a fantastic drummer/percussionist that did extensive touring with David Byrne. This cymbal is great in a variety of settings from Trio Jazz to Charlie Watts. Makes a beautiful, trashy Ride for jazz settings (responds well with brushes) or explodes with gigantic crashes guaranteed to get your lead guitarist's attention! I had the opportunity to play on Shelly Manne's Sonor Kit at a concert in '81 where I was part of the intermission act - he had a thin, old China with rivets that I remember sounding a lot like this. Factory-drilled for six rivets, it is currently equipped with brass split rivets. No cracks or dents, edges and center hole in great shape. No sound or video file available.
