Schecter Damien Platinum-6 Electric Guitar Satin Black

The Damien Platinum-6 delivers a comfortable, fast-playing experience with its thin 'C' neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets that reward both precision and aggressive playing styles. The mahogany body with arched top and set-neck construction provides solid sustain and resonance, while the satin black finish with chrome hardware presents a professional, understated aesthetic. This is a workhorse instrument built for rock, metal, and contemporary styles where reliability and tonal clarity matter.

Playability & Feel

The thin 'C' neck measures 0.787" at the 1st fret and 0.866" at the 12th fret, creating a fast, accessible profile that suits both speed-focused and everyday playing. A 14" fretboard radius paired with 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 25.5" scale length ensures smooth string bending, precise intonation, and comfortable access across the full range—the Ultra Access double-cutaway design maximizes reach to higher frets without fatigue.

Tone & Electronics

The EMG 81 bridge pickup and EMG 85 neck pickup deliver articulate, high-output active tones ideal for modern rock and metal applications, powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. A straightforward Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch control layout provides intuitive access to both tight, aggressive bridge tones and warm, compressed neck textures without unnecessary complexity.
