Di Mauro Modele Django - Fully Restored

Introducing the Di Mauro Modele Django: this guitar has been lovingly and painstakingly restored by our master luthier. He started by cleating the center crack, then reshaped the braces to improve tone. The finish on the top was then partially sanded down and refinished with French polish. The neck was re-fretted with Dunlop 6150 fretwire, and the nut and saddle were upgraded to bone. The tailpiece, bridge and tuners are all original. Other work done includes gluing a small crack in the headstock and adding fret dots on the sides of the neck. Additional photos are available upon request.

This Di Mauro barks and has excellent, balanced mid range cut that you'd expect out of a Gypsy jazz guitar. It's neck profile and zero-fret contribute to a very comfortable playing experience. The neck has also been replaned, going from flat to a friendly and familiar 20" radius.

This guitar is in very good condition. All issues have been taken care of and stabilized. There's some small dents and scratches; an average amount of wear given this guitar's age.
