God City Instruments jugendstil is a unique and amazing fuzz distortion inspired by the HM-2. This rendition of that classic pedal utilizes a sweep control for the mids, a sub switch for the bass and more notably the clipping is a silicon fuzz instead. The “loud“ knob is the classic maxed hm-2 settings and turning it blends it in or takes out as much as you please. Don’t be fooled, there is a lot of versatility and many sweet spots on this pedal. It also gets a pretty cool cleanish crunch tone with certain settings. Truly amazing pedal.
