Modulus Quantum 6 1991 - Natural

Really cool older Modulus Quantum 6 in great playing condition.

This is the classic Modulus recipe: full graphite neck, six-string configuration, dual EMG pickups, active electronics, and gold Modulus hardware. The graphite neck is what made these basses legendary — incredibly stable, immediate and articulate, with sustain for days and a very even response across the entire register.

This one has a beautiful dark figured top with natural-finished back and sides, paired with the exposed graphite neck and headstock. Gold hardware throughout, including Modulus-branded tuners and individual bridge saddles. It’s a seriously striking bass in person.

This is a player, not a museum piece. It has honest cosmetic wear from use, including scratches, finish wear and some tarnishing/wear to the gold hardware. I’ve tried to photograph everything accurately. Nothing about the wear affects its function — it plays great and sounds exactly like you’d hope a good Quantum 6 would.

These older Modulus six-strings don’t come up constantly, particularly in this configuration. An incredibly capable instrument for someone who wants the clarity, sustain and stability that made the Quantum series such a staple among serious players.
