Gibson Trini Lopez Deluxe Late 60's

The Gibson Trini Lopez Deluxe pairs classic hollowbody construction with some of the most distinctive styling Gibson produced during the 1960s. Its fully hollow laminated maple body features double Florentine cutaways and bound diamond-shaped soundholes, giving the guitar an unmistakable look and a lively, resonant voice.

A mahogany neck with a bound ebony fingerboard and split-diamond pearl inlays provides a smooth playing feel, while the reverse Firebird-style six-in-line headstock adds even more visual character. Dual patent-number humbuckers deliver warm, articulate tones controlled by a three-way selector, individual volume and tone controls, and an upper-horn standby/mute switch.

Additional appointments include an ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and a trapeze tailpiece fitted with a rosewood “TRINI LOPEZ MODEL” nameplate. Rare, elegant, and immediately recognizable, the Trini Lopez Deluxe is a standout example of Gibson’s adventurous designs from the era.

This Gibson Trini Lopez Deluxe is in very good condition. Minimal fret wear. The guitar has finish checking. 

Please note: There are cracks in the top at the lower ends of both the treble- and bass-side f-holes, as well as near the neck pickup. These are nonstructural cracks in the laminate (see photos). The original tuners have been replaced with Schaller tuners, and the pickguard is missing.
