Gregory (Greg) Miller Classical 2022 - Spruce / Rosewood

Another great guitar from Greg Miller. Lightweight, extremely responsive and with an attention to detail that is truly amazing.

This instrument is in spectacular shape aesthetically and is a powerful, well-balanced, rich sounding instrument that any professional would be extremely happy with. In fact, the original owner is a professional guitarist who used this guitar for several recording events. The attached video is of James Manuele, an amazing performer, playing this exact guitar.

It has a Spruce top and Rosewood sides and back, a comfortable 640mm scale and 52mm nut width. Action is perfect and there is still plenty of saddle left to lower it if someone wanted.

The voicing of this guitar is beautifully balanced and open. Voice separation is excellent as is harmonic blending. The basses have a deep, mature resonance, the midrange a clear and woody quality, and the trebles shimmer with a chime-like sweetness and long sustain. It is sensitive, colorful, and highly responsive to touch. Here is what Greg said about this guitar: " I did that one as a spec guitar and it was fun just doing what I wanted and using some nice materials in my stash."

I prefer to work on one guitar at a time as it allows both mental and physical focus on each singular task. I strive for each guitar to be aesthetically unique but also sonically consistent. Although there are many intangibles that make one instrument more desirable than another, my primary goal is to make a guitar with balance, clarity and a broad tonal palette using the finest materials and traditional techniques.

Greg's waitlist was two years but is currently closed and will not open again until late 2028 (according to Greg). This is an opportunity to acquire one of his instruments now and with all the amazing qualities which he is so well known; and in like new condition.
