Here's a unique and beautiful high-quality Black Aged Relic Stratocaster with a rosewood neck I assembled from third-party premium parts. It plays great, feels great, and looks great.

The guitar parts are all new. I'm an artist who loves Stratocasters and doing cool projects like this. I chose every part with great care. Lots of effort went into this. This is a one of one.

PICKUPS: Made-to-order, Tom Brantley Hot 60's Style Stratocaster with harness.

This is a hotter version of the early 60’s / late 50’s Strat pickup. These are handwound with 42 gauge Heavy Formvar wire and have Alnico 5 magnets. The bridge pickup is 10% overwound 7k for a fuller and rounder tone without any brittle high end. The neck and middle are 10% overwound 6.5k and have a mid bump for thicker sounding plain string and a full chunky strat tone. The middle is RWRP for hum-cancelling in the 2 & 4 positions. This set is great for solo players and those looking for a fuller thicker tone. These are great for emulating the SRV sound. A baseplate is added to the bridge to increase the tonal response with a slight bump in bass and mids. Pickups are built with a high quality Forbon and cloth lead wire. Each is signed by Tom Brantley with the position and style noted.

BRIDGE: NARROW-SPACED! Kluson Vintage Style Tremolo Bridge

This new version of the Kluson® Vintage Steel Block Tremolo Bridge is a beautiful replica of the traditional vintage tremolo, but with a modern twist. Kluson® has modernized the bridge by incorporating a contemporary 10.8 mm string spacing while still using the original 2 7/32 inch 6-screwmounting hole pattern. This direct replacement for vintage Fender® tremolos requires no additional modification to install and easily converts wide-spaced (11.3 mm) vintage guitars to contemporary narrow (10.8 mm) string spacing. The tremolo bridge kit includes new Kluson® embossed stamped steel saddles plated to match the bridge, a machined solid steel sustain block, all mounting hardware, tremolo arm with tip, mounting screws, claw and springs.
