Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 2022 Fender Player Stratocaster HSS Plus Top in Aged Cherry Burst. This version of the Player Strat adds a figured flame maple top to the familiar Stratocaster platform, giving the guitar a more upscale look while retaining the versatile HSS electronics and modern playability of the Player Series.

The Player Stratocaster HSS Plus Top features an alder body with a flame maple top, bolt-on maple neck with a Modern C profile, maple fingerboard, 9.5" radius, 25.5" scale length, and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Electronics consist of a Player Series Alnico 2 humbucker in the bridge and Player Series Alnico 5 Strat single-coils in the middle and neck positions, controlled by a 5-way blade switch, master volume, and two tone controls. A 2-point synchronized tremolo with bent-steel saddles and sealed tuners round out the hardware.

This example is in very good condition and presents cleanly overall. There is a small finish crack that is only visible under certain lighting, along with scratches on the rear tremolo cover and normal playing scratches across the pickguard. There is also a scratch on the lower right side of the body and a small ding along the lower edge. Overall, the wear is consistent with normal use and the guitar still presents very nicely.
