Up for sale is a classic DOD FX56 American Metal high-gain distortion pedal from the 80s/90s era. If you are looking for thick, aggressive 80s heavy metal distortion with massive sustain and punchy mid-range presence, this pedal delivers the quintessential retro tone.
Condition & Technical Notes:
- Cosmetic & Parts: Shows signs of wear typical for a vintage pedal. Please note that it has non-original replacement knobs and is missing the battery cover door (very common for vintage DOD pedals).
- Technical: Fully functional and sounds great, with all potentiometers working as intended.
- Power Supply Note: Runs on 9V battery ONLY. The DC power jack is inactive/not working, but the pedal functions perfectly on battery power.
