The Sugar Bundle is every plug-in Sugar Bytes currently make, SEVENTEEN IN TOTAL, and it is the only sensible way to buy them if you want more than three or four. Sugar Bytes are a Berlin developer with a particular reputation: their tools are built for doing something to audio rather than politely processing it.

The effects side is what most people know them for. Turnado is eight knobs, each firing up an effect, with 24 effects to choose from in expert mode and a Dictator mode that drives all eight from one fader. Effectrix2 is a multi-effect sequencer you paint into a matrix with 14 effects, from time stretching and looping to granular and glitch. Looperator chops audio into something new. Graindad is realtime granular processing triggered by transients, clocks or MIDI. Transfigure is the newest, a sound redesign tool driven by a central XY pad. WOW2 is the filter.

The instrument side is just as deep. Factory is a modular poly synth with a modulation matrix and four sequencers. Aparillo is a 16 voice FM synth aimed at cinematic sound design. Cyclop is a monophonic bass synth. Unique is a virtual analogue synth specialising in vowel and formant sounds. DrumComputer is a synthetic drum designer, Dialekt is an eight track groovebox with a song randomiser, and Egoist builds a whole groove out of any audio file you load.

Then the sequencing and generative tools: Nest is a modular MIDI system of 20 modules, Thesys is a pitch sequencer with extensive MIDI output, Obscurium is a generative pitch and synthesis tool that can host VST2 plug-ins, and Guitarist emulates rhythm guitar parts through a step sequencer with detailed control over chords and fingering.
