The Universal Audio Volt 2 is a bus-powered USB audio interface built around UA's classic analog tone. The Vintage Mic Preamp mode adds the warm, saturated character of a UA 610 tube preamp at the flip of a switch, so vocals and guitars land with color before they ever hit your DAW.
What it does:
2-in / 2-out USB audio interface, 24-bit / 192 kHz conversion
Two combo XLR / 1/4 inch inputs with 48V phantom power
Vintage Mic Preamp mode for classic UA 610 tube preamp warmth
Instrument (INST) switch on each channel for guitar and bass
Two 1/4 inch TRS monitor outputs and a 1/4 inch headphone output
MIDI In and Out on 5-pin DIN
Direct monitoring with Host/Direct switching for zero-latency tracking
Bus powered over USB, no power supply needed
Works with Mac, PC, iPad and iPhone
Rugged all-metal enclosure, compact desktop footprint
Included software: registers for UA's bundled suite including Ableton Live Lite, UJAM virtual instruments, Softube amp modeling, Celemony Melodyne Essential, Relab LX480 Essentials and Spitfire Audio LABS. Software offerings are set by Universal Audio and may change.
