This Pre Owned Gibson 2017 Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue R8 in Lemon Burst finish is in excellent condition with only light signs of play wear. You can tell this has been well cared for and maintained throughout ownership. We have spotted one mark underneath the pickguard where the mounting screw has dented the top. This is only an issue if you plan on removing the pickguard. Other than this. just a handful of small dinks around the back bottom edge and one tiny one on the top of the body near the jack socket. Other than this just some normal light swirling and surface scratches on the back of the body. Any small blemishes blend in well and we don't think detract from this being a very nice example in a great finish.

The neck on this guitar is lovely and clean with no obvious dinks or dents. There is barely any fret wear which goes to show how little it has been played. The fingerboard is in excellent condition. It does have the usual binding bleed that we have learnt to expect from Gibson's. On close inspection there are some faint marks to the face of the headstock from re-stringing but certainly nothing major.

All hardware is in great shape and original electronics working as they should. The jack socket plate has been replaced for a Gibson metal one. The original damaged cream one is in the case. The knobs have been changed for Charles Guitars Vintage Relic Top Hats, originals included in the case. The original strap buttons have been replaced and it looks as though one screw on the side mount of the pickguard has been too.

Includes the original Gibson case, key, COA booklet, factory checklist, blank toggle switch plate and swing tags. All have been kept in excellent condition. Currently fitted with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky's. We've given it a full healthcheck in our workshop and it's now ready to find a new home.
