2008 Ibanez RG2550Z-GK Prestige – Galaxy Black – MIJ Japan – Case

The Ibanez RG2550Z-GK is a 2008 model from Ibanez's Prestige series, produced in Japan by FujiGen. Built around Ibanez's fast-playing neck design and versatile HSH pickup configuration, the RG2550Z combines a comfortable 24-fret neck with the Edge Zero double-locking tremolo system.

The RG2550Z replaced the earlier RG2550E and introduced the Edge Zero tremolo, which incorporates the removable ZPS3 tuning-stabilizing system. This model features a basswood body, 5-piece maple/walnut neck, and rosewood fingerboard with distinctive wedge/sharktooth-style inlays.

The HSH pickup configuration provides a broad range of tones, from single-coil sounds to powerful humbucker tones, making it well suited to rock, metal, fusion, and other styles.

Condition

The guitar is in very good overall condition and presents exceptionally cleanly for its age.

There is one small repaired chip near the lower strap button, which has been filled in. Aside from this repair, the guitar shows very little surface wear and remains remarkably clean.

It has been professionally set up with smooth, low action and is playing excellent.

The tremolo arm is included.

The guitar includes the original hardshell case, original manual, and original hang tags. The hardshell case has a small crack near one of the feet, as pictured, but is included with the guitar.
