Description 

This is a 2009 PRS Mira.  I bought it as a half step guitar but find myself using others guitars more. 

This is from the original run, when they were Core models.  This one is spec’d with the J-Birds and the Regular neck shape.  Most of these were Moons with the Wide Thin.  Great feeling neck.  Original Mira pickups.  The only parts that are not original to the guitar are the pickup rings, strap buttons, and adjustable stoptail.  All of the replacement parts are OEM PRS parts.  The strap buttons that were on it when I got it were not original so I replaced them with modern PRS buttons.  The wraparound is the same one that would have come on the SC250 around the same time that this was made.  The pickup rings are the modern PRS version with the countersunk height adjustment screws. 

Weight is around 6 pounds. 12 ounces.

Original paperwork is included.  Original case is included.  Original pickup rings are included.  Missing the bird hangtag, original strap buttons, and bridge.

Condition

This guitar was not a case queen.  It shows signs of wear all over.  It has scratches, dings, buckle rash, and finish imperfections throughout.  The screws that hold the tuners in place are tarnished/rusted.  There is playwear on the pick guard.  The tailpiece is heavily tarnished.  

However, there are no breaks and weirdly no significant wear to the frets.  The tuners are functionally fine so far as I can tell, and other than the screws on the back of the headstock and the tarnished brass on the posts, they are in overall good shape.  The neck is clean, and the marks in the finish do not impact playability; I cannot even feel them (though that doesn’t mean someone else couldn’t, so I don’t want to undersell).  No noise in the pots, and the switches work as expected.  The wear appears to be almost entirely cosmetic.

I tried to take photos in various lighting conditions to accurately capture the color and to highlight the condition as best as possible.

The case is very beat up.  It still protects the guitar, but it’s got sticker residue, tears, and some pretty notable damage on the back.  I’ve photographed it to highlight this - I was unaware of the condition of the case when I bought it but as it still protects the guitar, I haven’t bothered replacing it.
