Trinfinity Guitars Custom Esquire T-Style (Left-Handed)

For sale is a Left-Handed Trinfinity Guitars custom-built Esquire-style T-style electric guitar designed around one simple idea: take the stripped-down character of the classic single-pickup Esquire concept and give it a fatter, warmer and more muscular voice without losing the attack, articulation and responsiveness that make a great T-style guitar so much fun to play.

This is not a Fender-manufactured instrument. It is a custom Trinfinity Guitars build using individually selected aftermarket components.

Tonal Character

This guitar was designed to deliver considerably more muscle than a traditional vintage-output Esquire.

At its heart is a DiMarzio Pre B-1 DP112BK bridge pickup, measuring approximately 14.23kΩ DCR. The Pre B-1 provides a stronger, fuller bridge voice while retaining the definition and immediate attack associated with a Tele-style bridge pickup.

The result is a guitar particularly well suited for:

Clean, it retains plenty of articulation and pick response. Push an amp toward breakup or overdrive and the additional output and midrange authority of the Pre B-1 give the guitar a thicker, more aggressive personality.

Esquire Eldred Mod — Three Useful Voices From One Pickup

The single-pickup layout is intentionally simple, but the electronics make this guitar far more versatile than it initially appears.

The guitar features an upgraded Fender-style Esquire Eldred Mod wiring harness using CTS 250k controls, an Oak Grigsby 3-way blade switch, .047µF Sprague Orange Drop capacitor and .0047µF capacitor network.

The three switch positions provide:

• Position 1 — Direct / Wide Open
  Bridge pickup with the tone circuit bypassed for the most immediate, open and aggressive voice.
• Position 2 — Traditional Volume & Tone
  Bridge pickup through the 250k volume and tone controls. This is the familiar, fully adjustable T-style sound and the most versatile everyday setting.
• Position 3 — Eldred Voice
  Bridge pickup through the .0047µF network with volume control, producing a darker and thicker alternative voice.

It provides three genuinely different sounds while maintaining the simplicity of a one-pickup guitar.

Roasted Flame Maple Neck

The roasted maple has attractive figuring that can be seen throughout the neck and headstock, and its warm amber coloration complements the dark natural body exceptionally well.

Body & Finish

The guitar uses a basswood T-style body with a dark, rustic natural wood-grain appearance.

Rather than trying to make this guitar look like another traditional solid-color Telecaster, the finish allows the grain and variations in the wood to remain an important part of its character.

It is paired with a black pickguard and chrome hardware, creating a simple but striking contrast with the darker body and amber-colored roasted maple neck.

Why Build an Esquire This Way?

The appeal of an Esquire has always been its simplicity: one pickup, two knobs and nothing unnecessary between the player and the amplifier.

This guitar preserves that philosophy but takes it in a more muscular direction.

The higher-output DiMarzio Pre B-1 supplies considerably more authority than a typical vintage-output bridge pickup, while the Eldred circuit extracts three useful voices from that single pickup.

The supporting components were chosen accordingly: CTS pots, Oak Grigsby switching, Pure Tone output jack, Gotoh bridge, Wilkinson EZ-LOK tuners, bone nut and Schaller S-Locks.

The result is a straightforward player's guitar that can move from articulate cleans and roots-oriented sounds to blues-rock crunch and vintage hard-rock drive without abandoning the essential character of a T-style bridge pickup.
