This is a natural maple Epiphone Sheraton II. The serial number has this guitar being manufactured in March of 2006. I have owned this guitar since new, I believe I purchased it in the winter of 2007.

The finish shows some slight swirls that are only noticeable if you're looking for them. There are a few scratches in the top of the headstock, but these are difficult to capture and again, minor. The electronics and hardware are all original aside from one of the screws for the pickguard. The hardware is all in good shape and functions well but the gold finish is showing its age on most pieces. The bridge pickup was swapped out for some time which has caused a mismatch in the wear/patina on the covers. The pickup ring screws show the most wear, with their plating gone and in its place, some rust has begun. There are a few marks in the finish in the back of the neck that look like scratches, but are under the finish itself that I wanted to note.

Action is 5/64" on the bass side, 3/64ths on the treble side. The neck currently shows .014" of relief at the 14th fret. A few of the frets show some wear but it does not affect the playability. It is currently set up with .010-.046 EB Regular Slinky strings.

It is bittersweet for me to sell this guitar, because it has been PLAYED. There was a solid decade where this guitar was gigged 2-10 times per month. I was playing it the first time I was on a real stage with a sound guy. It was on me getting shut down by the cops. It was in my hand when a bar owner tried to fight our drummer. It's had drunks spill beer on it. I was playing it when a girl I used to see asked someone to hold her drink and tried to fight me on stage. The woman that held her drink ended up marrying me. All this, and it's still a beautiful playing and looking machine. This is to say that it's lived a life and it still looks killer and plays wonderfully! If I had more space and more time it would stick around. The fact that it looks and plays great to this day is a testament to the build quality in these guitars, they are straight-up workhorses.

It comes with an original hard shell case, which shows far more evidence of the life it has lived before it ended up in your hands.
