Oktava MK-012 — Modular Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
This is an Oktava MK-012, a compact Russian-made condenser microphone with an interchangeable capsule system. The MK-012 is prized for its wide, flat frequency response and precision build — a favorite for acoustic instruments, drum overheads, and stereo miking techniques (coincident/spaced pairs) in studio, broadcast, and live sound applications.
This unit includes the mic body/preamp, a cardioid capsule (installed), and what appears to be a windscreen/basket accessory, all housed in the original fitted case.
A well-regarded workhorse mic — many engineers keep a pair on hand specifically for overheads and acoustic guitar.
