BSS DPR504 4 Channel Quad Noise Gate Excellent Condition 2 of 2

I have 2x BSS DPR-404 and 2x BSS DPR-504 for sale.

Fully tested and fully functional.

Excellent cosmetic condition.

Clean pots and switches.

Smoke-free environment.

These are one of the best and most reliable outboard gates. Staple for live and studio. Easy to dial in a precisely controlled, totally transparent gate. Pairs very nicely with a DPR-404.

I purchased these about 6 years ago and kept them in a case at home for studio use. I am mostly doing live sound and don’t take these out with me. Although these are known for live sound, I wanted to keep them in great shape so they stayed at home. I’m selling to get in the hands of someone who will use them more.

Parametric Key Filter: Allows you to tune the gate's trigger to specific frequencies, preventing false triggering from sympathetic resonance (e.g., stopping a snare from opening the gate when a tom is hit).

Auto Dynamic Enhancement: Preserves the natural punch and attack transients of your audio, which is a common issue with cheaper gates.

Auto/Fast Attack: Switches automatically to track the dynamics of the signal.

MIDI Triggering: Channels can be triggered via standard MIDI Note-on/off messages and preserve key velocity.

Versatile Range: You can switch between -70dB and -20dB gating depth.
