Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Standard 2001 - Blue Sparkle

This is a GORGEOUS Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Standard in a rare and stunning sparkle blue finish. This line of Epiphones were produced in the Un Sung factory in Korea and are among some of the best Epiphones ever made.

Functionally this guitar is in outstanding working shape and plays like an absolute dream. The tuning machines all work as expected and feel comfortable. The G string tuning machine has been replaced with an era correct tuner however it's the wrong color. That being said if you go to tune the guitar and aren't looking it feels identical to the other tuning knobs and won't throw you off. The neck is straight and the truss rod moves comfortably. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and the frets have been buffed. All the electronics work as expected and sound great! Potentiometers have been cleaned out with de-oxit. The bridge components are all in good condition.

Cosmetically this guitar is pretty clean where it counts. As mentioned one tuner is the wrong color but frankly this thing is begging for an upgrade to some classic style grovers anyway. Also the switch tip is black instead of cream. Other than that there are no major scuffs, dings, or blemishes anywhere on this guitar with the exception of some very minor micro scratches that can really only be seen at specific angles, and some minor checking near some of the tuners on the headstock. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary for a guitar thats been around this long. No structural damage, everything is in nice shape.
