Description:

The 2017 Les Paul Tribute keeps the familiar Les Paul formula with a carved plain maple top, mahogany body, set mahogany Slim Taper neck, rosewood fingerboard, 24.75" scale length, 12" fingerboard radius, and 22 frets. Electronics consist of a Gibson 490R neck humbucker and 490T bridge humbucker controlled by the traditional Les Paul layout of two volume controls, two tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch. Hardware includes vintage-style keystone tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge, and Stop Bar tailpiece. The 9-hole weight-relieved mahogany body keeps it a little more comfortable than a fully solid Les Paul while still retaining the feel and response players expect from the model.

This example is in very good condition and shows light cosmetic wear from normal use. The Satin Faded Honey Burst finish gives it a broken-in, understated look, and the Tribute series is a solid choice for players who want a USA-made Gibson Les Paul without the extra ornamentation of a Standard or Traditional.
