Mill River Music brings you a used Bach Model 37 Silver Trumpet!
Bach trumpets have been around since 1925, when Vincent Bach sold his first trumpet in New York City, and Bach has been the top choice brand of instrument for many students and professionals through history. Today, Bach trumpets are made by the Conn-Selmer company.
Made in Elkhart, Indiana, this trumpet is a "Model 37" meaning the bell of the trumpet is the most commonly used bell on Bach Stradivarius trumpets, allowing the player the most versatility of sound. Also on the bell is an embossed star \*, which signifies a Lightweight Bell Thickness of 0.020", compared to the standard 0.025", so this trumpet features a lightweight construction of Yellow Brass, versus standard Nickel Silver.
On the second valve, an engraving "ML- 81795" is shown; ML means a standard bore size is ML, or medium large.
There are small scratches on the bottom of the third valve, and some signs of use and wear for the age; it sounds beautiful and resonant, so come into the shop if you'd like to try it!
