Up for sale is an incredible Effectrode SR-71 Blackbird Vacuum Tube Preamp pedal in Excellent condition, complete with its original box, original power supply (with international plug adapters), owner's manual, rubber feet, and even the original Effectrode sticker!

If you're looking for true high-voltage, all-tube tone in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure, the Blackbird is as good as it gets. Built like a tank in the UK, it delivers authentic, touch-sensitive valve preamp tones—from sparkling Fender-style cleans to thick, singing Dumble-esque overdrive and searing high-gain leads.

CONDITION & USE:

This unit has seen very light use (only about 10–12 home sessions) as part of a home fly-rig setup. It functions flawlessly with zero issues. Visually, it is in fantastic shape with minimal signs of handling. The bottom plate currently has high-grade pedalboard mounting tape applied (great if you plan to mount it immediately to your rig). If you prefer it removed, just let me know upon purchase, and I'll carefully clean the base before shipping.

KEY FEATURES & CONFIGURATION:

• Pre-Emphasis Version: This unit features the updated Pre-Emphasis toggle switch on the rear panel rather than the internal bias trim pot, allowing quick, intuitive treble-shaping to match your rig.

• Internal Footswitch Jumper Setup: Currently configured internally for Channel Switching—left footswitch toggles between Clean and Drive channels, and the right footswitch toggles between Classic and Creamy overdrive modes. (Note: This can easily be set back to traditional Bypass/Channel mode via internal jumpers if you prefer).

• Pure High-Voltage Tube Path: Operates at true amp voltages for genuine dynamic feel and warmth.

CUSTOM TUBE COMPLEMENT & EXTRAS INCLUDED:

The pedal is currently installed with the "Blues/Low-Gain" tube configuration recommended by Effectrode designer Phil Taylor himself:

- Slot 1: 12AX7

- Slot 2: 5751

- Slot 3: 12AY7

To give you complete tonal flexibility, I am ALSO INCLUSING TWO (2) EXTRA 12AX7 TUBES! This allows you to easily reconfigure the pedal for:

1. 70s Rock / Medium Gain setup: 12AX7 (Slot 1) / 12AX7 (Slot 2) / 5751 (Slot 3)

2. High-Gain / Original Factory setup: 12AX7 in all three slots!
