I originally purchased this to have for my secondary board, and I am just moving to a single board for everything. This stomp worked perfectly fine for me and I had no issues with it whatsoever! I will attach the description below that explains the USB mod when I bought it. The Right output jack is still available, you just can't get to it currently. I rarely ever use stereo either, so never bugged me either.

Please read the following carefully before purchasing:

In 2021, the original USB-B port failed outside of warranty. Rather than replacing the surface-mounted USB connector, I installed a USB-B extension internally and permanently mounted the female end of the extension to the top of the enclosure. This provides a reliable USB connection for HX Edit, firmware updates, and computer connectivity.

I've been using the unit with this modification for approximately 4 years without any issues, and it has been completely stable throughout that time.

Because of this modification, the Right Output is no longer usable, making the HX Stomp effectively a mono-output unit. I have always used the Left/Mono output exclusively, so this never affected my use.

Aside from this modification, the unit functions as expected. All footswitches, knobs, display, DSP processing, and the remaining inputs and outputs operate normally.

This is a great option for someone who primarily plays in mono and wants to save money compared to a fully unmodified HX Stomp. The modification has been reflected in the asking price.
