The J. Rockett Audio Designs Archer Ikon Overdrive Pedal is a warm, transparent boost and overdrive pedal designed as a direct tribute to the legendary 1990s gold Klon Centaur.
Key Features & Sound:
- Dual Functionality: Works as a clean boost with the gain turned down, or blends in rich, amp-like overdrive as you turn the gain up.
- Gold Circuit Voicing: Features specific germanium clipping diodes that offer a smoother response, warmer low-mids, a softer top end, and more natural compression than the standard silver Archer.
- Headroom: Includes an internal charge pump that doubles your 9V power input to 18V for extra headroom and dynamic clarity (always use a standard 9V center-negative adapter).
- Controls: Simple three-knob layout featuring Output (volume), Treble (tone shaping), and Gain.
