Selling my Solar 42F. I'm relocating later this year and clearing out the studio. I'm one of those people who bought this after watching a few videos and thought I'd have time to play around with it and just never did, which is the whole reason it's here. It's barely used. Truly. Unfortunately.

Bought new from Perfect Circuit in January 2025. It's been powered on and played, but lightly — it has lived on a desk, never in a bag, never out of the room. Either in the original box or on my desk.

Fully functional, everything behaves as it should.

It has the original cartridge in the slot, just as it was when I I got it, and all the extra 12 FX cartridges are still sealed in the original packet, unopened.

Comes to you in the original box, patch cables, and power supply all included. Photo 6 shows the sealed packet.

Condition: [Excellent — absolutely nothing blemished or wrong EXCEPT, weirdly, two of the rubber feet have a white paint mark, I'm thinking it came like this, because there's no way I would have done that - and like I said, the only place it's been is on a solid slab of finished wood. I've included closeups of all the feet just so you could see them].

I'm sure you know what this thing is, but, it's a drone and ambient machine built around swappable FX cartridges. It is not a conventional subtractive synth and doesn't want to be. For evolving textures, drones, and, basically, just losing yourself, it's superb. It has so many cool controls.

Ships in the original box, double-boxed in the box that it got shipped to me by Perfect Circuit. If you want the piece of candy that came with it, you can have it, but I don't think sweets hold their value/taste as well as gear.
