The Restoration Includes:

Full Crossover Recap: Precision spec-matched premium film capacitors. These replace the aging factory electrolytics, restoring high-frequency clarity, improving midrange vocal response, and ensuring the crossover remains within spec for the next 40+ years.

Woofer Overhaul: The original high-compliance woofers were professionally re-foamed using premium surrounds and specialized polymer adhesives to guarantee a permanent, airtight seal required for this acoustic suspension design.

Hardware Refinishing: The driver mounting hardware was fully stripped and refinished in a flat black protective chassis coat.

Wood Trim Correction: The solid pecan top caps and lower kickplate bezels were stripped back and refinished with Watco Danish Oil to hydrate the wood, enrich the natural grain, and provide a durable satin finish.

Cabinet Detailing: The remainder of the cabinet structures underwent a deep chemical cleaning to remove decades of surface film, environmental contaminants, and residue, restoring a clean showroom presentation.

Grille Restoration: The original cloth grilles were deep cleaned to remove dust and odors while preserving the integrity of the original fabric and factory badges.

80-Hour Lab Soak Test: Every speaker undergoes a strict "burn-in" to ensure new film capacitors are fully settled and the system is mechanically and electronically stable before being offered for sale.
