F Besson Kanstul Meha C 1984-1985 - Silver

Offered by Falcetti Music is a professionally overhauled F. Besson Meha C trumpet, built by Kanstul in the USA, serial number 2695.

This is one of the sought-after Kanstul-produced Besson Meha C trumpets, combining the classic Besson Meha design with Zig Kanstul's American production. These professional C trumpets feature a removable/interchangeable leadpipe system that allowed players to select different leadpipe configurations to adjust the response and playing characteristics of the instrument.

This example includes its #67 removable leadpipe. Please note that the #67 is the only leadpipe included with this instrument.

The trumpet is silver plated and remains in Excellent vintage condition, particularly considering its age. The silver presents beautifully, with small surface scratches and signs of use visible upon close inspection. Please review the photographs carefully for the cosmetic condition of the instrument.

The valve casing is clearly stamped “F. Besson / Kanstul” along with serial number 2695, and the bell retains the traditional Meha / F. Besson / Paris-France engraving.

Included is the original F. Besson hard case with burgundy interior. The case shows age and wear consistent with a vintage instrument but remains a great part of the package.
