1979 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Chassis

For sale is a phenomenal example of a golden-era Fender in Excellent Condition.... a 1979 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Chassis.

If you're searching for that iconic, articulate, and three-dimensional clean tone that defined a generation of music, this is it. This amp delivers the legendary sparkle and warmth with incredible headroom, making it one of the ultimate pedal platforms. At 35 watts, it's the perfect volume for both stage and studio, capable of staying clean at loud volumes or breaking into rich, musical overdrive when pushed.

Condition: The Fender Vibrolux Reverb is in fair vintage working condition. The faceplate is in good condition. Functionally, the amp works well. However, on the Vibrato channel, there are mods to done to the Volume control, Bass, and Tremolo. The volume needs to be turned up to 7 thru 10 to get loud. Tremolo is more 'intense' than normal, and slower. Bass is dialed back a bit but still good. Using the Boost sounds better than the original circuit.

Normal Channel works perfectly.

Professional and Thoughtful Service: This Vibrolux Reverb has been professionally serviced with a focus on safety and reliability while preserving as much of the original circuit and tone as possible. The goal was to make it gig-ready for years to come, without changing parts unnecessarily.

The following essential service and modified has been completed:

• Power Supply, Reverb, and Output Transformers:  They are all Fender originals expect for the Output Transformer. It was upgraded for 2, 4, and ohms load.
• Power Caps and Resistors:  All upgraded and using Atom Sprague's. Pictures.
• The amp was completely fixed with new parts that were out of spec. See pictures.
• Other Info:  Reverb works well when a Reverb Tank is installed..
• Basic Maintance: Clean and Deoxit all Pots. 'Burnished' all Jacks (1/4" and 1/8"). Removed the 'Death Cap'' from Power Section. 3-prong AC cord was installed..
• Accessories:  None.

All other circuit components, are original to the amp and are functioning perfectly.
